Ajada was just the added touch that was needed for my grandma’s Homegoing Celebration. My grandma did not listen to sad music, and although we were gathering for a sad occasion, I wanted her service to be uplifting and for her spirit to be felt through the musical selections that were played. Ajada understood exactly what I wanted and helped bring that vision to life. Prior to the service, Ajada and I had a call where I shared some of the musical artists my grandma enjoyed. Based on that conversation, she curated a playlist for the two-hour viewing that truly reflected my grandma and the music she loved. She also sang three songs live during the funeral service, and her gifted voice received so many compliments from our family and friends. When my mom and I arrived at the funeral home around 11:25 a.m. to drop off flowers, Ajada was already there setting up, and her greeting was so warm. From beginning to end, she was professional, kind, and truly has a beautiful soul. I’m so happy Ajada was able to be a part of my grandma’s Homegoing Celebration. She helped make a sad occasion feel joyous through her presence, her voice, and the music she selected.
