Sweet Ride Stables was founded for two very important reasons; for the horse and rider. Our stable rescues horses that are bound for slaughter. These are horses of all ages, sizes, training, colors, health, and backgrounds. It is our belief that these horses deserve a second chance at life and to do that we rehabilitate them back to health and provide the necessary training. Then we give them a job that they can do their best. Each one is unique in assisting Sweet Ride Stables, but they all are valued the same way. All our horses here are rescues and each and every one of them holds a special place in our heart and shows us everyday their deep appreciation for giving them a second chance. The rider is the other motivation behind the creation of Sweet Ride Stables. Horses have a way to bring out the best in people and drawing them in. We know that horses are not easy keepers and not everyone has the opportunity to own a horse, but yet there is still the desire to ride them. We love watching horse and rider interact and form a bond that is honest and unconditional. Whether it is in a riding lesson, pony party, or even just a stable visit, it gives us great pleasure being able to bring horse and rider together!
