Why hire Susan Freeman?
Slightly dysfunctional wife & mother, this former teacher was a high school dropout - probably because she didn't "just say no to drugs" until 20 years later. In the classroom, she nurtured young minds; on stage this comedian turns truths inside out through gentle sarcasm. Susan's philosophy about comedy is simple: "the truth doesn't have to hurt; it's also not G-rated." Paradoxically, she does not use her disregard for the G-rating as a license to be crude. After almost two decades in the Pacific Northwest, Susan moved to Oklahoma where she made her comic debut. Now she braves weather and speed traps throughout the country to bring her edgy, honest comedy to the stage.
About
Susan parlayed ten years as a high school teacher into a promising comedy career. (Ironically, the former teacher was a high school dropout - probably because she did not "just say no to drugs" until 20 years later.) In 2010, Susan’s tour went international when she entertained troops in Kuwait and Iraq. In 2011 she performed in clubs all over the United Kingdom. She currently braves speed traps throughout the country to bring her edgy, honest comedy to the stage. www.susanfreemancomedy.com
