Cider Magazine's Country Band of the Year, The Shana Stack Band, is a Top 40 Country Band that also performs original music and some southern and classic rock. The Shana Stack Band is no stranger to performing at great musical venues like Indian Ranch in Webster, MA and most recently this group opened on the Magic Hat Stage for Reba McEntire at the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion in Gilford, NH.This group has performed at some great country clubs like the Midnight Rodeo Bar in Manchester, NH and Shenanigans in White River Junction, VT. As well as summer concert series, fairs, and festivals, The Shana Stack Band has opened for big name artists, and in some cases, private events, such as performing at the Quechee Club in Quechee, VT and the Lake Morey Inn in Fairlee, VT. They have performed from the upper valley of New Hampshire to the Portsmouth, NH Summer Country Concert and even on a boat cruise sponsored by WOKQ Country radio. The band has also performed at the Blue Ocean Music Hall is Salisbury, MA. They were also the headliner act for the WOKQ 27th Annual Chowder Festival this summer at Prescott Park in Portsmouth, NH.This festival brings in nearly 5,000 people each year. This past year also marked the release of their sold out album, "You Can't Make Me Fall". The album is a collection of new music penned by Ed Leavitt, with two songs co-written by Nashville songwriter, Pat Kelley. The album was recently reviewed by Michael Witthaus, a well-known regional music writer and critic for the popular Hippo Press. They have also been fortunate to have a full page spread featuring the band in the Keene Sentinel this past year.

Members of this 5-piece band have opened for such artists as Chuck Wicks, George Jones, JoDee Messina, Mark Wills, and many, many more. The Shana Stack Band was in fact, the headliner act for the Topsfield Fair in Topsfield, MA, performing on the main stage. This has been a very big year for The Shana Stack Band.

The Shana Stack Band was invited to perform at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the largest sporting facility and the only super-speedway in New England, for a private function. Shana Stack herself, 20 time award winner and the 7 time New Hampshire Female Vocalist of the Year, was featured last fall on the Speed Channel singing O Canada for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and this year sang the National Anthem on ABC for the Indy Race. This is a band worth seeing.

The Shana Stack Band members bring on average, 20-30 years of experience, and will prove to be an asset to your upcoming event. Perhaps you are aware of the popularly dedicated song, "David's House" which is played during the holidays to help promote David's House (located in Lebanon, NH near DHMC) during the KIXX radio annual radiothon to raise money for the children and families that stay at David's House.David’s House was featured on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition with Ty Pennington. Ed Leavitt is a member of this band and the individual that wrote and composed the David's House song. Ed has also had one of his songs recorded by Craig Campbell, Nashville Recording Artist, who previously had the #1 song on the Billboard Country Charts called "Family Man". Ed has a song, "More Than Just a Farm" that is currently being considered for George Strait's next album. Ed recently found out that his song "Let It Go" is featured in an Indy Film called "Compliance" which will be released in the spring 2012 and is currently being shown at the Sundance Film Festival.This band isn't just a band that loves to play music; this is a band that cares deeply about their communities.
