Marley's Chain is a professional duo with decades of experience. We know how to read a crowd and interact with the audience. We understand that people are at an event or public venue to kick back and have fun, so we try to play what they want to hear and what they respond to. We play a LOT of music during our performances; we don't waste time between songs or talk about songs, songwriters etc. We'd rather play for you and we like to let our music speak for itself. We love performing and interacting with an audience. We are high energy and put a lot of time and effort into arrangements and rehearsals, so that every song is special. We don't play "fillers" to get through a gig. We strive to make every song we play the best that it can be. We'd love to play at your venue or party.

DUO – DAVID HINTZ & ANGELA CHRISTIE

Marley’s Chain, features David Hintz and Angela Christie, both on guitar, bass, mandolin and vocals. They play originals and eclectic cover tunes and switch out instruments throughout their show. Both David and Angela have solid solo careers and decades of performance and songwriting experience, with David’s influences based more in folk music and Angela’s in country. The combination of their individual styles gives them a unique blend of material and musical chemistry.
As a songwriter, David is known as a storyteller, with songs that cover the emotional gamut from funny to touching; he has scores of songs in his catalogue and has been writing songs for over 50 years. He has recorded 3 albums: Rode Hard & Put Away Wet, Out With A Bang, Happy Today. His slapping rhythm guitar and earthy vocals make him a natural for country, standards, folk, rockabilly and rock n/roll.
As a recording artist for Playback Records in Nashville, several of Angela’s songs made the Top 40 on CashBox Magazine and she has opened for or performed alongside Roy Clark, Jeannie C Riley, Leroy Van Dyke, Shenandoah, Billy Dean and Patty Loveless. An aficionado of the 12-string guitar, she is also accomplished on 6-string acoustical guitar, mandolin and bass, and as released two albums: Love & Learn (Playback Records) and It’s All Up to You (Fraternity Records).
In addition to original material, the duo plays country, folk, folk rock and old rock & roll as well popular standards, and they perform at venues in SW Florida and North Carolina.
