I am a solo jazz acoustic guitarist who specializes in jazz renditions of classic tunes from the 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's. A graduate of Berklee School of Music, I have been performing for many years at clubs, restaurants, weddings, formal dinner parties, corporate functions and anywhere else where a pleasant live music backdrop adds to the overall ambience of an event. My set lists can be for 2 - 4 hours, I have my own professional P.A. system, small or large depending on what is needed, and I am always available to perform on short notice.

Great background music... perfect for corporate events!
Sam is amazing! We hired him for a corporate event and we we're so happy, we immediately booked him for another. He arrived early and stayed late. He worked with us on the flow of events (speaker, ribbon cutting, cocktail hour, etc.). We could tell he's done this before.
If you're looking for an extremely professional solo jazz guitarist, you can't pick one better than this. Five stars.

About
I love to play my guitar for people. Whether it be a formal affair or just a fun get together with friends, I'm always happy to whip out my guitar and perform. I started playing standards back when I was attending Berklee School of Music in Boston. I ended up getting regular gigs at some local eateries and watering holes. One thing lead to another and I soon found myself branching out all over New England playing 4 or 5 nights a week. Upon graduating from school I moved to So. Cal. and have in many ways picked up where I left off back east. I have played countless weddings, parties, corporate functions, college alumni dinners, you name it and I've probably done it. I have from time to time pulled in regular gigs at So. Cal restaurants and cafe's such as The Equator in Pasadena, and Shutters in Santa Monica to name a couple.
