About

Hannah Romanowsky is a professional performing artist and dance educator from the San Francisco bay area. She draws her aesthetic impulse from a remarkably diverse background in the performing arts, including both Eastern and Western classical and theatrical dance and the traditional repertoire of North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and the (Gypsy) Roma.

A seasoned performer on the proscenium stage, Ms. Romanowsky has collaborated with some of the most highly sought-after cultural dance and music luminaries on the international scene, performing at museums and festivals in Europe, Asia, and North America.

Hannah is the founder and director of the DanceVersity multicultural arts education program and teaches workshops nationally and abroad. Ms. Romanowsky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Ethnology and a Master of Arts in East-West Psychology.

As the principle artist for Romanza Dance, Hannah seeks to provide dance performances, presentations, and workshops highlighting the distinctive beauty and vitality of cross-cultural expressive arts and create original works that are artistic, educational, entertaining, and transformative. Offerings include traditional repertoire, original compositions, and performance art for festivals, events, academic institutions, film and television. Dance ensembles and live musical accompaniment can be provided.

Ms. Romanowsky and Romanza Dance Artists perform frequently for holiday parties, corporate events, weddings, birthdays, women's retreats, museums, cultural festivals, school assemblies, fundraisers, anniversaries, retirement homes, and theaters.

Ms. Romanowsky is available for dance workshops nationally and abroad.
