About

Robert Allen, born on the West Side of Chicago, IL is an Artist, Singer, Songwriter as well as a Producer. According to Robert, "Since Birth" was when he knew that he had his talent, crying and singing in tune at the same time. Robert began constructing his talent in church at a very young age and still continues to do so today.

As a young man, Robert began performing in and around Chicago where he made a local name for himself, as a vocal artist as well as a boxer. Over the years,Robert has won many golden glover for his other love. In early 2000, Robert and three others formed the group 24Karat; they became an exceptional local talent. 24Karat went on to be featured on television programming such as Bet and Teen Summit.

Seeking to become a solo artist, Robert entered in the citywide contest, Chicago Idol, hosted by WGCI-FM (107.5) and V103-FM (102.7), two mainstream radio stations, owned by Clear Channel Communications. Robert became one of the 15th finalists out of hundreds of hopefuls. Although Robert did not rein victory as Chicago Idol, he has since dedicated a great amount of time in the studio recording, writing, producing, perfecting his craft determined to make music that his fans, the world would want to hear.

Today, Robert performs around the Chicago area at different venues as well as offering his vocal talent to various fundraisers and benefits. Robert composed "Love Always" dedicating it to cancer victims and performed it live for a benefit with the American Cancer Society.

Robert has worked with many acclaimed artists such as: R. Kelly, Twista, Do or Die, Young Gotti, The Pope, to just name a few.

Robert is currently an unsigned artist. He is working very diligent in presenting his music to record labels, to sign as a new up and coming R&B solo artist.
