Private PartyDo not hesitate to hire Riley. He is an extremly skilled musican. Riley performed for a neighborhood party that had guests ranging in age from their mid-30's to their mid-70's. Everyone had a blast. Many times throughout the night the guests said 'Riley' sounds just like Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, or many others. He will not disappoint!

Riley does solo guitar and vocal gigs as well as his One Man Band, duo and trio shows. His versatile mix of smooth jazz, classical, pop, rock, country and folk music allows him to fit seamlessly into any crowd or function. "I am one of those fortunate individuals who absolutely love performing live gigs. I've done wedding proposals, engagements, weddings, funerals, corporate, private and public shows, cruises, etc. No matter what the event, I do my best to make sure my performance is precisely what the client wants," he details. "I am just as comfortable in a tuxedo as cowboy boots and hat and everything in between. The solo act might just be me and my guitar, sometimes with vocals and sometimes without. The One Man Band is terrific since I play and sing along with tracks recorded and played myself in my recording studio. Be sure and watch my One Man Band video sampler here or on YouTube to experience what I am talking about. I also have a duo and trio for larger events with a larger budget."
Regardless of the size or type of gig, booking Riley Wilson is a sure bet. What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 15 - 360 minutes

I play a very wide variety of material, from smooth jazz like Larry Carlton, Zachary Breaux and George Benson to pop tunes by Sting, James Taylor, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Buffett to rock from people like John Mayer, Beatles, John Fogerty and The Eagles to country like Big and Rich, Alan Jackson, George Strait and Dwight Yoakum.
Inevitably, someone requests a tune I didn't have in my songlist. Often, I will go ahead and play it anyway, without the sequencer. Just my guitar and vocal. I might forget a word or misplace a chord, but usually audiences are stunned that I remember the song at all! This keeps things from becoming stale and I always appreciate input from listeners. While I can't be all things to all people, I do enjoy playing that special song to help make someone's night memorable.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
110 volt A/C, within 15 feet of performance area, 6' X 6' setup area

Additional Notes:
I run standard 110 volt alternating current. An elevated stage is nice, but in no way is necessary. A separate area to change clothes is important, since I usually don't dress for the performance until the gear is assembled and ready to play. I don't drink alcohol or smoke, but appreciate water or sodas during the show. I enjoy eating on a break if that's not an imposition on the host or client.
