OUTSTANDING PERFORMER!

Do not hesitate to hire Riley. He is an extremly skilled musican. Riley performed for a neighborhood party that had guests ranging in age from their mid-30's to their mid-70's. Everyone had a blast. Many times throughout the night the guests said 'Riley' sounds just like Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, or many others. He will not disappoint!

Review by Angela C. B.

I hostessed a "decade party" for my husband's 70th birthday. He loves country western music, country western swing and 50's-60's "oldies". His favorite food is BBQ. So I located an upscale BBQ restaurant and searched online for an appropriate singer. Riley's website information, his audio segments, and the public feedback from his previous events prompted me to call him. After a brief telephone interview, I hired him for my event. I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice! His repetoire was exensive, his personality was engaging, and my guests were very impressed with his one man band! Other restaurant guests wanted to join our party - they kept gravitating towards the live music! I will most definitely hire Riley again and I would encourage anyone looking for a great singer and a great personality to consider meeting Riley.

Riley Wilson - Rehearsal Dinner Entertainment

Riley performed at our daughter's rehearsal dinner. We had a mixed audience from the wedding party (early 20's) to grandparent's ( on up there! ). Riley provided exactly the right level of energy for this event. He was pleasant, cheerful, entertaining, and his music was excellent.

Everything he played was true to the original and easily recognized by the listeners. He is easy to work with, accommodating and willing to suggest ideas when requested.

Riley did a wonderful job and I would quickly recommend him to anyone planning an event.

Wow, what a great success! Riley was so professional and the crowd loved him. He played songs that appealed to everyone and took requests. He managed to get everyone dancing by the end of the night by the pool! I would definitely recommend Riley Wilson for your upcoming gatherings. Neighbors down the street thought I had a full band playing in the backyard as the sound was beautiful!

Booking Info

  • Typical Gig: 15 - 360 minutes
  • Fee: $200- 2200

Overview

I play a very wide variety of material, from smooth jazz like Larry Carlton, Zachary Breaux and George Benson to pop tunes by Sting, James Taylor, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Buffett to rock from people like John Mayer, Beatles, John Fogerty and The Eagles to country like Big and Rich, Alan Jackson, George Strait and Dwight Yoakum.
Inevitably, someone requests a tune I didn't have in my songlist. Often, I will go ahead and play it anyway, without the sequencer. Just my guitar and vocal. I might forget a word or misplace a chord, but usually audiences are stunned that I remember the song at all! This keeps things from becoming stale and I always appreciate input from listeners. While I can't be all things to all people, I do enjoy playing that special song to help make someone's night memorable.

Additional Booking Notes

I run standard 110 volt alternating current. An elevated stage is nice, but in no way is necessary. A separate area to change clothes is important, since I usually don't dress for the performance until the gear is assembled and ready to play. I don't drink alcohol or smoke, but appreciate water or sodas during the show. I enjoy eating on a break if that's not an imposition on the host or client.

Testimonials

"Riley went above and beyond to ensure he was prepared for our event. He visited the venue to avoid surprises; he clarified the styles of music we requested; he confirmed that the attire he had mind for the evening was appropriate. The video he has posted on the internet gives you an idea as to the quality of his sound, but it does not do justice to his presence "in person". His voice is smooth and as flawless as his guitar playing. Many of the guests went out of their way to comment to me how impressed they were with talent. We will, with no doubt, call Riley for any future entertainment needs or if one of our sons should choose to take guitar lessons!"

– Christy L- Frisco, TX

Many of my years have been spent being around various musicians (both big names and no names). Little did I know that when I found your website how wonderful you would be. Not only did you delight, but blew way past my expectations. You are so very talented and play such a wide spectrum of music which truly makes your appeal power very broad to many. I look forward to the next time that I plan a party. A party is not a party
without you, Riley. Thanks so much for rockin' our socks off!
