What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 180 minutes

Our stage show is unlike anything you have ever seen. It is not unusual for members of the audience to come up on stage and dance with the band, sing a few bars into one of the backup vocalists microphones and in general raise hell inside the venue. Which is what we ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO SEE! Our goal is to make sure that every last person thoroughly enjoys themselves and leaves with a smile on their face. Anyone can stand in place and play a song or two, but if you're looking for a band to put on the best damn show you've ever seen, look no further than Planet Retro!

Additional Notes:
Over the years, our band has accumulated enough gear to put on the most professional and entertaining show possible. Our PA system can easily put out enough sound to reach a crowd of over 500, which is no easy task let me tell you. We also have an in-ear monitor system which cuts our stage noise in half. Have you ever walked into a bar or a club and felt half-deaf when you walked out? That is never a problem with us. We have the ability to play as loud or as soft as we want. Our band can play indoors, outdoors, underground, on a boat, where ever you need to rock the house! We have our own transportation so road trips are no problem. You just say when and where and we will be there!

Set/Song/Sequence List:
Unfortunately, there is not enough space to list our entire set list. We maintain an active set list of 45 songs and a passive set list of an additional 50 songs which we use to keep our shows fresh. 1980's music is very eclectic and amazing to listen to, but even great songs get old if they keep getting rehashed. We also take requests from outside of our genre provided that we are notified 2 weeks before the show.
