My name is Dave McGonigal. I have been playing the bagpipes at special occasions for over 30 years. I have piped at weddings, funerals, anniversaries, and birthday parties.
I started playing the bagpipes at the age of 12 and have continued to play over the past 33 years! I was "Pipe Major" in the Scarborough Red Hackle Pipes and Drums and have competed in several competitions over the years.
What to Expect
Possible scenarios for weddings...
- Piping as guests arrive at the church or reception area
- Piping the bride in or out of the service
- Playing a few tunes while the wedding party is signing the register
- Playing during photographs
