Patrick performed at the 2011 Iowa Comedy Festival, the 2012 Cabin Fever Comedy Festival, the 2013 Great American Comedy Festival as well as at the Funny Bone in West Des Moines, Iowa. Patrick was also a finalist in the 2012 C4 Comedy Competition in Omaha, Nebraska. He is a fixture in the Des Moines comedy scene and has performed with Tobe Hixx, Willie Ferrel, Brad Stewart and Kyle Kinane.
About
Growing up as the youngest child in a family of three, on a farm just outside Omaha, Patrick learned quickly that to get a laugh was the best way to get noticed. And get noticed he did. You don't become the Glenwood Community Middle School class clown 1998 AND 1999 by slacking off. Actually, that's exactly how you do it. But still, two years in a row, pretty awesome right?
In his early 20's Patrick was in several bands, but always found himself more comfortable telling jokes in between songs than he did actually playing the guitar and singing. So after a stint at Iowa State University, where he traveled the world and met his wife Stacie, he found himself living in Des Moines and decided it was time to get back up on stage. This time without the guitar.
Now, whether it's through true stories from his life, well crafted jokes, or just a series of quips off the top of his head, Patrick has quickly been making a name for himself as one of the best and brightest young comedians in the Midwest. His command of the stage, demand for attention and respect for the craft makes him an act you will want to watch again and again.
