Liz is a fast and talented artist, she can draw about 25-30 black and white caricatures per hour or about 8-10 color caricatures per hour. The paper can fit up to 4-5 people so get your family portrait done!

Liz is an amazing artist that came to our baby shower for four hours and all the guest love happy and excited for their image. She work diligently on a large crowd and did beautiful work. Her characters were fun and captured the essence of our guess. It was definitely something to remember. 10/10 would recommend! There was always a line, but she worked through them quickly and efficiently and pretty much everyone who wanted an image got one! Thank you again Liz for your beautiful work!!!!!

I booked Comicliz as a surprise for my daughter's wedding reception. When the day arrived, there were so many details to take care of, it was glorious that Comicliz was effortless.
She arrived right on time, set up and delighted the guests with a fun experience that all the guests loved, from ages one to eighty-eight! In fact, the grandparents were among the first to jump in! She even agreed to stay an hour later than scheduled to get a few more drawn. Comicliz was probably the most effortless part of the evening.

What to expect
Will arrive about 10 minutes ahead of time to set up.
Liz will bring her easel and drawing board to setup for caricatures. She will need 3 chairs, one for herself and two for guests.

About
Liz is a Chicago based artist who graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art at Chicago, with a bachelors degree in Media Arts and Animation. She has been drawing for private parties since 2012 and has worked in a theme park for four seasons and would occasionally setup her own booth to sell drawings at local festivals.
In 2013, Liz earned a job in the field she studied for as a 3D computer animator and worked on games at NetherRealm Studios. For roughly 10 years she has worked on titles such as Injustice; Gods Among Us, Mortal Kombat X, Injustice 2, Mortal Kombat 11, and Mortal Kombat 1. As of the summer of 2024, Liz was laid off from her job and is currently focused on running her own business as a caricature artist while searching for a new animation job. Lately she has been working at many festivals every month and booking many private events.
On another note, Liz has moved 1 hour north from Chicago near the Wisconsin border where she lives in her new home with husband, 2 kids, and 2 dogs.
Additional booking notes
Plan ahead where you would like the artist to setup. There should be around 8x8ft of space and a fair amount of lighting. If the event is outside, there should be shade provided if it is a hot sunny day. Please provide three chairs. Liz will bring her own paper, drawing board, markers, and easel.
If you need Liz to bring her own chairs or a tent for outdoors, just let her know.

Influences and inspiration
Liz was first inspired to draw caricatures when looking over an artists' shoulder at Six Flags. After that she researched more artists online and found people like Joe Bluhm, Brian Oaks, Tom Richmond and many more to use as inspiration to practice her own caricatures. When Liz got hired to work at a theme park, she had the opportunity to meet many more caricaturists whom always challenged her skills. Plus the guests positive reactions is what keeps her going and loves to be surrounded with positive energy at these private events.
