A trio of uber talented, professional, experienced musicians. Blues rock, classic rock and more - featuring music of the 60's with a British Invasion influence. The band is energetic, entertaining & keeps the crowd - this because they love to bring the party & keep 'em dancing. We tend to book 3 to 6 months in advance, so please give us as much notice as you can.

GARY ZAK: Professional music career began while attending Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in (phone number hidden)6 to 1980 played bass with Smooth Talkin' & also Tri-Passage a blue s-rock band

1981 to 1982 played bass with Tundra, classic rock, Cleveland, OH

1983 to 1986 played bass & trombone with R-Factor, classic rock & originals, Cleveland, OH

1986 to 1989 played bass with The Blue Hearts, blues, Cleveland,OH

2000 to 2002 formed the Outback Blues Band with George Rogers on Keyboards, Salome, AZ

2008 to 2010 re-formed the Outback Blues Band with George Rogers who retired from the band in 2009. During this time, the band progressed through several members, culminating today in a brilliant and talented line-up of professional blues musicians that now make up The OUTBACKS of Phoenix, AZ.

Favorite Music Styles & Artists: Classic Blues, British Invasion, Power Pop late 60's to early 70's. Cream, Blind Faith, Clapton, Springsteen, Raspberries, Badfinger, Nilsson, Chicago, & T. Rex.

MATT MESSENGER: Mad Matt Maggott, a dynamic drummer with lead and backup vocals from New York City to the Arizona valley. Matt has shared the stage with greats such as Twisted Sister, Molly Hatchet, The Outlaws and many more. Remembered mostly for his contributions to Megaforce Records Recording Artists "Tortured Dog" and providing the beat for the New York City Madame of blues, Lex Grey.

ROBERT GAL: Blues guitarist, singer and a classically trained pianist, Robert started to play at the age of 7 and picked up the guitar just a few years later.
