About
What happens when you combine an honest-to-goodness Southern Gospel singer with two seasoned Broadway musical theatre performers and writers who have decided to join their individual talents together to
put their own unique twist on Contemporary Christian music? You get OneAchord! Two of the members – Keith Lawrence and Kurt Bowen – became acquainted, and ultimately gained a high level of appreciation for each other’s talents, while singing together with a local Detroit-area gospel quartet beginning in early 2009. In March 2010, they made the decision to take their voices in a new direction, along with their convictions for a true Christian-based music ministry which believes in equally utilizing and celebrating the contributions of all its members. Fittingly, the group became known simply as, OneAchord.
Comprised of men with hearts and voices for God, OneAchord feels very blessed and excited about where the Lord is leading them. The multitude of doors being opened for us to sing His praises and be witnesses of His grace, have truly brought us together!
