I contacted this band through their website. I was looking for the kind of live and that could make both my parents and my friends get up on the dance floor!

My email was quickly answered by their manager and she and I communicated a few times with general questions on dates, fees, etc. She also sent me a nice Demo CD which was nice. I booked them pretty quickly.

From a business point of view, their price was very fair and the band was very professional! and easy to communicate and work with. But personally, I thought they were just AWESOME! We got a lot of really good comments about the music and everyone found a lot of tunes to dance to, even the younger people. And they were flexible throughout the whole night. Of all the things I needed to think about that day - they made their part very easy for me.

The New Legacy Swing Band was begun in the early 90s and has been swinging the New England Seacoast ever since.

Classic Big Band Sound

With the velvet quality of five saxophones, the brilliance of six brass and one of the region's most experienced rhythm sections, the New Legacy Swing Band recreates the great swing classic sounds of the Big Band Era. Add to this the sultry voice of our own 'jazz singer' and you've got the most versatile swing sound on the seacoast.

We have over 400 charts available including swing, dance, latin, polka, waltzes as well as those room-filling big band tunes that get your blood pumping! Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Frank Sinatra, Benny Goodman, Glen Miller, Artie Shaw and all your favorites.

The group has entertained thousands throughout New England from Cape Cod to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and Portland, Maine.
