MBS Trio

About

MBS Trio formed to fulfill the needs of music venues seeking small jazz ensembles in the Boston area. Originally formed in Philadelphia, PA in October of 2008 like-minded musicians Marcus Sholar- sax, Justin Sekelewski-bass and Kevin Collins-guitar recorded at Polarity Sound. Agreeing to bring the instrumentation of sax bass and drums per request of their weekly residency Brothers Spano Bar, MBS Trio added the beat of Andy Martinek. The Trio continues to offer various instrumentations to the venues of the Greater Boston area.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 180 minutes

We provide a thorough evaluation process, pre-event 'meet and greet / planning event', live showcase, and sit down agreement proceeding. We gather the information required (repertoire/volume/space/ambiance type) to perform to your specific needs. We arrive early and we adjust the performance in real-time as the event moves forward.

We need a power source and we need a 10x10 floor space for a rug and and cable running necessary.
