LOVED MATT @ OUR DAUGHTER ALEXIS' COLLEGE GRAD PARTY

From me, a stay-at-home Mom for the past 23 years and not very adept on the computer, I still can't believe that I was lucky enough to find this site , which led me to book Matt Santry. Our college graduation party for our daughter,Alexis, who graduated from St. Joseph's University in Phila.,PA was being held at a local winery and we were interested in finding a young entertainer. He/she would need to appeal to all ages of our family and friends, from 11 years old to 87 years old, with a high concentration of 22 year olds and 40's/50's. I was hoping to have success on this site and for some reason after scrolling through many of the profiles listed, I zeroed in on Matt. His bio mentions that he has played the college circuit. After all, our thoughts as parents, were how will we please the college age friends and our age with one entertainer? I grew up in a home where Music was always played at parties. My parent's even added a room onto our house for family/friends parties, that had the stereo and tile floor for dancing ( in the 1970's). I saw a listing of some of the venues that Matt had played and our family was very familiar with Congress Hall in Cape May, NJ. Just to be sure, everything / this site was on the up and up , I contacted their entertainment director and asked for a reference for Matt. He came highly recommended as being very professional and a favorite for their guests. Knowing the high level of performers that they book, I knew we were making a good decision. I called Matt and we corresponded by e-mail and phone. I also checked out his music on line. and sent the link to our daughter. She loved the music and the vibe. We did not meet face-to-face until Alexis' party. We contracted Matt for 4 hours . He played / sang a wide variety of music. He ad-libbed when I surprised everyone with the appearance of the SJU HAWK mascot, by breaking into the Free Bird song. Matt was a good sport about letting us take group pictures with him for Alexis' photo album that we would be making. In the past for our parties, I always contracted with a d.j. , but really wanted something different and to have our guests feel more connected with the music and have a friendly, relaxed coffee house kind of vibe ( even though we were at a winery). You get the idea. Matt provided us the Perfect party music! Our 20 something group and other guests stayed long after the party was going to be over, which was fine by us... the sign of a FANTASTIC party. Our daughter was VERY HAPPY with the night! The venue, entertainment, specialty foods from Philly and of course our special guest list all made for a CELEBRATION TO REMEMBER!!!!! Many of our guests asked for Matt's info . In other words, we highly recommend. June & Greg
