About
A singer/songwriter from Ontario, Canada, Matt has been entertaining people of all ages for 15 years. His covers of popular artists include songs by Blue Rodeo, Johnny Cash, Cat Stevens, Guns n Roses, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, John Denver, Elvis Presley, Jason Mraz, Adele, and so much more!!!! His acoustic sets are extremely well played, his playing ability has been compared to a mix of Pink Floyd and Neil Young.
Recieving his first guitar, an Ibanez artcore series electric, at age 17, Matt first began learning guitar while he was living in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada. Living in a basement apartment, there was a huge snowstorm, and being snowed-in for a few days, he had nothing better to do but to learn how to play his new guitar.
Armed with a book with 100 Beatles songs, he sat down and played until he could play every song in that book!
