I like to shout the blues! I'd prefer a barbeque to a concert hall. I'm most at home playing Depression-era country blues and spirtuals, but I write a lot of my own stuff. I try not to get pidgeon-holed. For example, I've been learning to play a bunch of folk dance tunes on pennywhistle and hurdy gurdy lately. I can perform 1-2 hours of music from memory and probably an additional 2 hours if I bring along my notebook. Nothing flashy, just solid songs, song writing, and two feet shoved way down deep in tradition.
