Belly dancing is a cultural dance. I perform different types of belly dance, depending on circumstances of your event. I also use props, such as swords, veils, zills, cane, and occasionally fire.

Performance may include stage, or interactive, or a combination of both and generally last 20-30 minutes per set(belly gram)but most certainly can be "available" for photos and discussion after performance, to total 1 hour.

I am available within generally a 100 mile radius from Marshall, MI at no extra charge, however there will be an additional fee for traveling beyond 100 miles.

I am not available for bachelor parties, generally, however if you are very interested please call or send me a message and we can discuss details.

Influences

Every instructor I've had, whether it was a 1 hour class or 1 hour for weeks/months/years, they have made a huge impact.
I have been instructed under Julianna,
Ruby Jazayre, Mirah Ammal, Blue Lotus Tribe, Yasmina Amal, Sabrina, Shahira and Na'imah and more.
I have been a member of the Habibi Dancers of Lansing, MI and Shahira Dancers of Jackson, MI.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 15 - 30 minutes

I dance for my audience as much as for myself. I expect my audience to walk away feeling inspired, happy, pleased with the performance as well as included in my performance, whether interactively or just from watching me onstage.
If my performance is onstage I pride myself with putting on an energetic show and giving my absolute all.
As an interactive performance, audience can expect to feel comfortable and never put on the spot~I take notice of people who are uncomfortable and understand completely~but whether you want to dance with me or watch I will leave you breathless ;)
O.K., maybe not THAT out of breath....

private area to change clothing
sound system or DJ

Additional Notes:
I am able to provide my own CD player for small performance, however a sound system may be needed for larger venues.
