About
Mae McCoy is a Texas Recording Artist who resides in Sacramento, CA. She was a competitor on Season 1 of "Can You Duet," filmed in Nashville, TN and aired on CMT in 2008. Mae is the Vice President of the Western Swing Society, a non-profit that promotes the heritage of traditional music. In 2023 Mae McCoy was inducted in the Western Swing hall of Fame.
She has recorded with talent such as Jim Loessberg (Ray Price, Johnny Bush, Bobby Flores), Justin Trevino ( Johnny Bush), Emily Gimble (Asleep at the Wheel), Jess Meador (Jake Hooker.) Her first album has been recorded in Brady, TX at the Heart of Texas Studios, and she is signed to Neon Star Records.
Genres she specializes in is : Western Swing, Honky Tonk, Classic Country, Patsy Cline Covers, Jazz Standards, and even 1950s oldies.
