Our a cappella quartets sing music ranging from madrigals to traditional favorites. Since 1992 we have been serving the Southeast, with much of our clientele in Atlanta, GA and Nashville, TN,

Seasoned performers are excellent entertainment for a variety of holiday events and activities. Each quartet consisting of two women and two men dressed in elegant 1840's attire bring the joy of the season in song to thousands each year. Singing holiday favorites - traditional, English madrigals, secular non-seasonal songs and comedic - performances are unaccompanied in beautiful four-part harmony.

Influences

We are currently the most booked caroling company in the Southeast. The company's repertoire is now over seventy songs including madrigals, holiday favorites, comedic pieces and traditional period carols. The delightfully detailed costumes for each caroler are designed and made especially for her or him! Our company thrives due to the many talented vocalists who graciously return to sing for us year after year. The goal of Like The Dickens is to provide performers the opportunity to have some fun during the holiday season and earn money while having fun. The company was set up to treat performers as professionals, and as such with respect and understanding.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 300 minutes

Our a cappella quartets are versatile entertainment. They can be used as greeters at the beginning or end of an event; as strolling entertainment throughout an event; or as stationary entertainment for events with more structured activities.
Quartets are booked often for office parties, corporate and private holiday gatherings, as building lobby entertainment and for banquet/reception entertainment. Over the years, we have worked as singing greeters for weddings and receptions to stationary entertainment bringing cheer to those traveling thru locations such as the resorts and even the airport during the holidays. And we love taking song request!

Additional Notes:
No staging or amplification is needed for the successful use a cappella caroler entertainment. Our vocalist can sing outside when the weather is above 55 degrees or the wind chill is above 50 degrees. Singing in rain or colder weather can damage a caroler's voice and thereby hurt the beauty of the a cappella singing a client is hiring. After 17 years experience in atmosphere entertainment, our carolers know how to best be used in any setting and can help a client or event planner use the entertainment to best effect any gathering.

Set/Song/Sequence List:
We have a repertoire of over seventy songs - sets can be customized to be secular (for corporate gatherings), non-secular or a combination of all the great music the holidays have to offer. Clients that book can customize a song list if preferred. Carolers also keep a list of songs on-hand for the client or event guests to review and make request from at any time.
