Q: What is a Photostation anyway?

A: Our Photostation is a modern update on the classic photobooth concept. With a traditional photobooth you cram into a box, have your picture taken with a countdown, and then receive a small print of the images. With our Photostation you have your picture taken by an actual photographer who can take the photo at just the right time and with high quality professional gear. You also receive an actual 4X6 print of the image immediately afterwards! (Hint: These make GREAT party favors!) We get set up during your wedding reception, birthday party, anniversary party, in-home party, corporate event, Sweet 16 party, or Quinceaera, and then we help you turn a good party into a great party!


Q: So wait, this is basically just a photobooth with a photographer?

A: No, this is so much more than that! A photostation is a combination of classic style and crazy fun! Not only do you get the talent of a real photographer you also get the fun of props and prints and priceless memories!


Q: Speaking of photographers, who are you anyway?

A: Life of the Party Station is a part of Biggs Photography and we are based in Cedar Falls, IA. We work full time shooting weddings, engagement sessions, seniors, and familes (among other things.) Not in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area? No problem, we travel!


Q: How long does it take to get the print after the picture is taken?

A: Virtually no time at all! (Okay, okay, the printer takes 8 seconds...)


Q: How many people can the Photostation accomodate?

A: More than a traditional photobooth can, that's for sure! The Photostation is set up with a 10 ft background so it can accomodate larger groups of 8-10 people, feel free to check out the galleries for examples!


Q: What will the pictures look like? Do they have to be B&W?

A: The pictures don't have to be B&W (but they certainly can be!) Prior to your wedding or event we will discuss the various toning and color options that are available. You'll choose just the right style or combination of styles that's right for you. Check out the galleries for ideas on the various styles available. We have Vintage Pop!, Rockin' B&W, Sweet Sepia, and Golden Throwback!


Q: What does a Photostation cost?

A: That's the big question isn't it? There are many options and packages available that will accomodate nearly any budget. Prices start at as little as $650!
