All of my workshops are interactive and filled with humor. I have learned that by including the audience in the presentation, their ability for retention is increased. For me, that is the ultimate goal – not just what they hear in the room but what they will use in their lives.
The importance of treating people with respect and kindness is underrated, especially in the workplace. A kinder workforce increases customer satisfaction, which is directly related to client retention and referrals. Research, as reported in the Harvard Business Review, has also shown that acting in a more positive manner actually cuts down on the number of sick days used.

I am a member and volunteer for AATH (Association of Applied and Therapeutic Humor) and Zonta International Pittsburgh-North. I recently became a professional member of the National Speakers Association and am on the Board of the local chapter.
