Hi Scott, thank you so much for having us and for the great review! We had a fantastic time performing at your event. Happy Merry! 🎄🕯️✨
We hired Lea and her quartet for my mother's 75th birthday. They were outstanding. I couldn't be happier. The music really set the vibe, and everyone enjoyed it. Some of the tunes were really captivating, and some set a lovely mood while guests could socialize and enjoy the party.
They were so professional, and the quality was tops! Thank you for making my mother's birthday feel top notch!

Thank you so much!
We hired Lea to perform, in a trio format, with a keyboard and upright bass player, at our father's 88th birthday party in a senior living facility. This was the absolutely perfect choice!
Lea was always very responsive in the booking and planning stage. She also helped us to determine the blend of instruments that would work best and we co-created a set list catering to Dad's favorite tunes and that would appeal to a wide age range (20-something to 90). We scoped it out as a 45-minute set but the time flew by and we were fortunate enough that the band was able to play an additional 15 minutes to accommodate ending with Happy Birthday as the cake was presented. (If we book again, we'd definitely plan on an hour, at least.) The volume level was just perfect for people to be able to enjoy the music and have conversations over their meal together. Everyone really enjoyed the band's contribution and my mother said afterwards "It's the nicest party we've ever thrown."
If you are looking for entertainment that feels classy and elegant but also approachable and universally appreciated, don't hesitate to book Lea! You will not be disappointed.

Karen, thank you so much for the epic review! We enjoyed performing at your father’s party.
Lea and her wonderful band were amazing! Our guests at our event enjoyed the music and Lea’s Angelic Vocals. She even had some of our elderly guests dancing in their chair as they couldn’t get on their feet. They were the highlight of our event. Looking to have them back.
I booked them sort of last minute for Christmas Day at the senior living facility that I work at, and Lea was able to make it work for us. She made it easy to communicate all of our special needs beforehand. But our residents can't stop talking about how amazing they were! The Lea Grant Quartet made our Christmas even more special! 10/10 would recommend

Lea and her piano accompaniment, Alex, just recently played music for our residents at the retirement community that I work for on Valentine's Day night and the residents absolutely loved her! One of the residents sent me a thank you note for having her and said, "she was fabulous! Her music brought us back to the 50's and the early 60's in a very nostalgic way!" I would highly recommend her!

What to Expect
I have a wide network of fantastic jazz musicians that I work with. I can offer an intimate jazz duo setting of voice and guitar, perfect for a wedding cocktail hour or relaxing weekend brunch.
I usually perform (as a quartet) with guitar, upright bass and drums. I love to sing standards, and can sing 3 unique 50 minute sets (with ten minute breaks in between.)
About
Ms. Grant offers charmingly playful and engaging musical entertainment for both public venues and private events as a duo, trio, quartet and quintet. She draws her audience in with an innate reverence for the music, a lovely, claret voice and a touch of humor.
Whether interpreting her original songs or Great American Songbook classics, Lea Grant wins over audiences. She has gigged extensively throughout the San Francisco Bay Area with her indie-folk-jazz piano trio and has had the honor of performing in a wide variety of venues from the bar at Yoshi's Lounge, which is one of San Francisco's premier jazz venues, to the PLACE for Sustainable Living, an educational eco-collective in Oakland.
Grant’s performances unfold with a grounded, youthful energy. Whether interpreting her original songs or Great American Songbook classics, she brings an intimate authenticity to the music.
Jazz aficionados may hear the influence of Shirley Horn, Anita O'Day and Carmen McRae.
