About
Kristin Anderson stepped on stage as a comedian at age 19 and quickly decided that comedy was easier and much more fun than going to college. Education smeducation! The road was the life for her. Six months later she was on the road full time and getting an education of a different sort. During this time Kristin had the opportunity to work with some of the best in the business: Louie Anderson, Jerry Seinfeld, Ray Ramono, Larry Miller, Lewis Black and Kathleen Madigan.
Kristin did some television, a bit of film (emphasis on bit) but loved stand up more than anything. She moved to Los Angeles and got an agent. She was on Life Time’s “Girls Night Out”. She worked right up until she realized she was losing eggs at an alarming rate and decided to settle down and spawn. She did this twice. The husband and children are now able to feed clothe and wipe themselves and she is ecstatic to be back living her dream.
Kristin is a Certified Fundraising Auctioneer. This fulfills her lifelong career goal to make a living making a difference.
Kristin travels and performs a corporate comedy show she has written for BridgeWorks, which focuses on generational differences in the workplace. She also performs “Kristin Anderson’s Girls Night Out!” as well as stand up for all at various casinos, clubs, private events and fundraisers.
Perhaps it is obvious, but Kristin has managed her entire career without writing a bio and must say that writing in third person is pretty fun. So is performing. Bring it on.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 15 - 60 minutes
An audience member will experience laughter! An audience member will hear humor they can relate to. They will experience a professional who is very good at what she does. A comedian who is gifted at writing audience specific material in addition to her written act. Kristin is also very good at playing with the crowd, working off the cuff.
