James Kruk aka King Kruk started performing as Elvis in 1998 when he was hired to portay Elvis in Steve Martin's play "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" Martin said that Kruk had "that certain something that we cannot define that Elvis had "
He toured for over 450 performances to sold out theatres all across America. James is the Singing voice of Elvis in the movie "Pawn Shop Chronicles' Starring Matt Dillon Brendan Fraser Elijah Wood. James has performed for Linda Thompson Elvis long time Girlfriend and performed with Jack Black at several charity functions. He has also been a regular on Good Morning San Diego, Fox San Diego and Telexpress Europe.
James Kruk and his amazing Tribute band were the first Elvis Tribute Band to play House of Blues Hollywood and The El Rey Theater Los Angeles as the opening act for Eels! They have also shared the stage with Super Diamond, Cash'd Out, The Submarines and many other National acts.
They regularly play Pala Casino, Viejas Casino, The Belly Up Solana Beach Lake Arrowhead Summer Concerts Redondo Beach Lobster Festival San Marcos Concerts in The Park San Luis Arizona Concerts in the park and many many others. James' Tribute is widely respected and often the only Elvis tribute acts to be placed on the bill of main stream Rock and Roll clubs throughout Southern california. He is always the first choice for large corporate events not only for his high pctane show but for his unrivaled professionalism and ability to connect with an audience and deliver exactly what the ckient wants and needs for the extra flash necessary to promote a product or event.
