About

My name is Kieryn Bowman and I have been playing Viola for 7 years and Violin for 2 years. Viola is my main instrument but I love the violin as well. I have done many things with the viola during Highschool. I attend Broadripple Highschool Freshman year I was part of the BroadRipple Highschool advanced orchestra and octet. I also played in the Honor Orchestra of America, and during the summer I attended the Music for All Summer Symposium as the assistant principle violist and the Blue Lake Fine Art's camp as the principal violist in their advanced orchestra. Sophomore year I started playing violin with Candida Wiley and did alot of things with my viola, as well. Again I was part of the BroadRipple Highschool Orchestra and Octet. I also played in the Honor Orchestra of America, Indiana All State Orchestra, and the Indianapolis Symphony Side by Side orchestra. Over the summer I toured in Europe with the Blue Lake International Youth Orchestra as principle violist. I have received 7 gold medals for solo viola, and one silver for violin. My teachers have included (viola) Betty Perry for two years, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's Sheldon Person for 2 years and currently I am studying with Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's Thereasa Langdon and at my highschool Candida Wiley.


If you decide to hire myself as a violist or violnist I will be a very professional, flexible and punctual musician. I will be able to play anywhere and anytime as long as I have altleast a week of notice. My sightreading is very good if you would like me to play music that you have for me and I can also bring my own pieces. Music is my passion an I will show that whenever I play, I hope that you will contact me for your gigs. If there are any questoins I will be happy to answer anything!! :) :)

Additional Notes:
I am only 16 years of age, but I am a very experienced musician technically and professionally. I have done many gigs and I have played many performances. So please, do not take use my age as a deciding factor because I promise it will not effect anything.
