Tarvia Blackshear is the passionate founder of BellShear Music, bringing over 20 years of experience as a violinist, electric violin player, violist, and educator. Her diverse musical style spans classical, pop, rock, R&B, and hip hop, and she has studied under renowned mentors such as Tracy Silverman, Rachel Barton Pine, and Mark Wood. She has a Bachelor of Music Education degree in violin and viola, from Sam Houston State University. As a solo electric violinist, she has lent her talent to private events, weddings, and parties across Texas, and as a Symphony and Chamber orchestra musician, she has showcased her skill throughout the U.S., Western Europe, China, and Puerto Rico. Tarvia’s versatile repertoire includes music by Beethoven, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Billie Eilish, and her influences range from Metallica to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
