Why hire Kat Rush Caricature?
A tasteful, skilled, and entertaining caricature artist who will capture your likeness and make you smile. My style is unique and elegant, and guests at your event will leave with a quality caricature drawn in pencil on good drawing paper. I charge 100$ an hour for events, with a minimum of three hours - very reasonable for a caricature artist! - and all caricatures are free of charge. Alternatively, I charge $20 per caricature.
About
I am currently enrolled in Sheridan College animation, one of the best applied arts programmes in Canada. With years of experience in the visual arts, my work is not generic or mass-produced in any way. Each portrait is carefully crafted for the customer, and each is unique and interesting. Guests at your event will leave with their own caricature (an exaggerated or cartoonish portrait), either of themselves only, or with friends and family, free of charge.

Influences
I am influenced by the clean, simple linework of Al Hirschfeld. I have also learned a great deal from the work of Tom Richmond (MAD magazine illustrator) and I am influenced by Disney and animation-style caricature that I have been exposed to in the Sheridan College animation program.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 360 minutes
I will create a live caricature for each client or guest on the spot, and draw for them an exaggerated, cartoonish portrait that is a good likeness and is creatively unique to that individual. The client will then leave with the caricature that I have done for them in pencil on a piece of drawing paper.

I require two chairs, one for myself and one for the client. All other equipment I will bring myself.
