Best performer on the planet bar none

Johnny Rogers IS music personified.
Just his guitar playing ability would put him at the top of the elites, but then add that he can sing like EVERYBODY adds another very special layer.....THEN...to top it all off he sings with HIS OWN voice and style songs that HE HIMSELF WRITES and BOOM everybody else in taken to school by this cat! Buddy Holly reincarnated!

Buddy is the most fun at a concert, very energetic.I was taking his picture as he was coming up the isle and he grabbed my purse and ran off with it.he always gives it back but he just likes to see how women react to him when he does it.When he brought it back to me he grabbed the girl sitting behind me and danced with her in the isle.I would say to anyone that has a chance to go see him, don't miss it, you will definately get your money's worth and more. can't wait to see him when he comes to wichita falls,tx again. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would,he is AWESOME!

Johnny was awsome, I have seen him perform four times during the last 2 years. He performs as great for 300 people as for 20,000 people. I plan to see him every chance I get. Awsome.

I have seen Johnny perform several times and he is a truly gifted entertainer. He can change personas so smoothly that it is hard to believe he is the only one behind the mike. His shows are very energetic, and he interacts with the audience, making his shows a very personal experience. When he plays the guitar his outstanding talent will give you chills. He is truly talented as a song writer also, if you can get him to sing some of his own songs you will find that he has the ability to put into words and music feelings and experiences that can bring you back to your own experiences of joy or sadness. Any time that you get the chance to see Johnny do so. Every show is a new experience. So get out and go back in time with the best. Johnny takes us back to a simpler time when you didn't have to worry about what messages his songs were sending to your children....there is no X rating to his songs. So go out and Rock and Roll and have a great time. Johnny's concerts are like potato chips you can't watch just one. Go Johnny Go!!!! He really rocks the house.

I was fortunate to see Buddy Holly when I was 7 years old in a very small concert setting at Hershey,Pennsylvania along with several other artists. He made quite an impression on me at that time, and to this day, even after seeing no less then 300 live concert performances thruout my life, he remains one of my very favorites. Never having seen an impersonator I was reluctant to go to the "Rock & Roll Heaven" show, but I am so glad I did. Johnny Rodgers made me take a trip back thru time for about 45 minutes, and I was lucky enough to have my 7 year old son with me to experience it.
He brought the house down, his physical attributes and dancing had me wondering if perhaps he was somehow "channeling" Buddy. I totally enjoyed myself (as if it isn't obvious by reading this!) and will look forward to another engagement of Johnnys' in this area. I hope it will be very soon. He IS Buddy Holly personified.

I saw Johnny in "Rock-N-Roll Heaven" tour. He is absolutely GREAT! I only got to see Johnny perform Buddy Holly because there was another Elvis with the tour. But I could tell he would do a wonderful Elvis as well. Great guy, very personable and kind. And I liked his moves.

Johnny Rogers

Do you really want to read some boring biography? Do you really care where Johnny came from or how he got started? Bottom line is, Johnny heard his first Buddy Holly record as a boy and hasn't been the same since!
Today, he's a polished musician, singer and quite simply, an outstanding entertainer. (I'm his manager, I can say that.)
As a testament to his ability as a performer, Johnny often shares the stage with guitar legend Tommy Allsup, the Grammy award winner who played with Buddy Holly (and lost the coin toss to Richie Valens and didn't get on the plane that crashed.) Tommy also performed for years with Bob Wills' Texas Playboys, and on over 9,000 recording sessions!
Johnny has performed at the famous Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, where Buddy played his last concert. He has performed for members of Buddy's family. And now, he'd like to play for you.

Testimonials

I have been asked who put on the best show doing Buddy Holly. The guy I enjoyed hearing the most was Johnny Rogers. I'm also impressed with the way he does other artists and would like to hear him again. His performance, look, and mannerisms remind me of my brother.

– Larry Holley (Buddy's brother)

Amazing show! The audience absolutely loved it. This was the best in a series of great shows we've done. The moment the show was over, people were asking when we would have him back!

– OKMusicShow.com

Extraordinary! Johnny is a consummate musician, vocalist and performer. When he takes the stage, he honors the men who created rock n roll. I think Buddy Holly himself would be proud to play alongside Johnny Rogers.

– Brent Weber, FOX 25 News

Johnny does the best Buddy Holly I've ever seen. I'm not easily impressed, but I must say Johnny is the best showman I've ever performed with. I don't think there's anything he can't do.

– Tommy Allsup (Buddy's former guitarist)
