Great Holiday Party!

John was able to motivate a group of high school/college kids to square dance...everyone had a blast! They are still talking about it days later....

Backyard Party Was A Succcess Thanks To John!

I highly recommend John. We had a backyard party with about 150 guests: adults and children. John arrived early enough to set up. He had all of my guests enganged and dancing the whole time. His instructions were simple and easy. It was soo much fun! My friends are still talking about our unique and fun summer party. We are planning on making it an annual event using John!

John was excellent. Got our high schoolers moving.

We would ask John to come again. Our teens are asking for this every year. He made it very easy to learn and easy to get involved. There were a lot of smiles and there was no pressure to be perfect.

Great at getting teens involved!

This is the fourth time we have hired John for one of our children's birthday or graduation parties. This time many of the teens had no previous square dancing experience. John does an amazing job of getting them involved and relaxed so they feel comfortable getting out on the floor. In a short time they were all participating and really having a good time. He is very encouraging and does an excellent job teaching them how to do square and line dances. We look forward to the next event we can have him lead.

Best Birthday Ever!

I surprised my wife for her birthday because she loves to dance. We had the best time with our friends learning how to do the different dances. It was pure joy seeing all the smiling faces and hearing the laughter. Great night!

Our tradition will continue!

Our group had stopped having our annual square dance because we couldn't find a great caller. We decided to try again this year when John was recommended. Everyone had a great time. John did an awesome job in explaining each new dance. Each person there felt very comfortable in trying something new!

A Wonderful Time Was Had By All

Everyone had a GRAND time with the variety of music we had at our party! The line dancing was enjoyable for our guests and so many people had a terrific time square dancing! Even my nephew chose his mother for his partner for these activities. John was a great person with whom to work. He was so considerate and understanding about a few changes that occurred and he was absolutely fine adjusting to the various needs of our guests. Thanks, John, for making our party a success!

Friends want to do it again every year!!!

John traveled 4 hours to do an anniversary party for my in-laws and the party was great. The dancing he directed really made it a hit. Everyone had a good time and want to do it again. At the last minute we had to change the party time from 1 pm to 5pm and John had no problem changing his plans to come. He always returned my calls quickly too, which was nice. Would hire again!

Wonderfull and memorable experience.

John worked with our members who have developmental disabilites as a square dance instructor/caller for five weeks. This was a new experience for all of us and with a few adaptations, John was able to connect with and provide a great learning experience to our participants. The fun factor was high! I would highly recommend John as a caller and plan on seeking his services again next year.!

Great Church Party!!

We had 2 local guys cancel on us, so I came here to find another caller. John was available and worked with us on what our needs were. At first, many were reluctant to join, but John's energy and encouragement had many off their seats and enjoying the fun. Many in the church are still talking about it 2 weeks later. I highly recommend John for any church events.

Fantastic Event

John was fantastic. Our party would not have been so great, if someone else was there. 70% of the attendees were children between 12 and 14. The rest were adults from 17 to 82. Everyone enjoyed the evening immensely.

Metro Early College High School held it's 2nd annual "MetroThon", a 6-hour dance marathon fund raiser for Nationwide Children's Hospital. This year we decided to try adding square dancing as an activity for the event. We found Mr. Wargowsky through OSU's 4H organization. He was very easy to reach and to work with for this event. He took the time to learn about our school and our intent for the evening and helped make sure the students had a great time while learning something new.
I am already thinking of what we might be able to do with the square dancing activity next year to increase the fun for our students and visitors. Mr. Wargowsky was professional and knowledgeable.

We had over 150 Girl Scouts attend our fall festival hoedown. John kept the girls engaged and entertained the entire time. The calls were easy for girls of various ages to follow. Everyone had a great time and were surprised at how much fun-square and line dancing could be! Would definitely use John's services again.

We had a group of young adults (college age to 30ish) gathered for a weekend retreat. John did square dance calling at our Saturday night party. It was a HUGE success. The young adults had such a good time, and requested we do it again.

Our party was quite a challange for John. It was an engagement party which included lots of out of town guests that hadn't seen each other for quite some time. There were alot of interuptions while he was teaching us the dances. John remained very calm and understanding while alot of social interuptions took place. He is a very good teacher of square, round, and line dancing. Everyone had a great time.

John did a fabulous job as an entertainer who called square dances, teaching dances to those who did not know anything, and interspersed circle and line dances. Everyone had such a fabulous time that we are planning to have him back. We are adding a day to the reunion so we can continue to have the dances with John. He was espcially good in showing people how to do the steps in a very fun manner.

I loved the participation at this event, Beth. It was a pleasure to help you with your fundraising event.

John is an essential part of the success of our annual 'Hog Roast and Hoe Down' party. Each fall, since 2002, we have a party for friends. Everyone dresses in western attire, we roast a hog, sit around a camp fire and Square Dance. Most of us are in our 40's and have not square danced since we were in school, so everyone is out of their element. A few need some liquid encouragement, but once we start, everyone has a blast. It is the first question everyone asks when we send out the invites; 'Is John going to be there?' John is great with a crowd, explains each move and has a ton of patience for those of us who are not light on our feet. John is very adaptable to the needs of the dancers and is creative with some of the moves, especially on the last dance. We also do some line and slow dancing. At times, we are doubled over from laughing from so hard. Even the spectators have a wonderful time watching. It is also a great way to work some of the roasted hog. At the end of each party, I book John for the following year. You will not go wrong with John!

John has provided DJ service with line dance instruction for the past 4 years at our county fair. We have a family barn dance every year in which the youth do traditional 4-H line dance, square dancing, and general dancing. The song/music variety hehe has is wonderful and he works very hard to make sure any request are played. He has been extremely flexible with the time often extending the hours of the event on the spot when requested. John provides an excellant evening of music and fun for everyone.

For our group's barn dances, we have hired John on a repeat basis because he is that good! He keeps the evening exciting and fun packed. He is experienced (and patient) at both teaching new dancers and keeping the experienced dancers entertained and happy.
