About

I started doing stand up comedy in Washington DC in 1988 at The Comedy Cafe, along side comedy greats Dave Chappelle, Wanda Sykes to name a few. After working comedy clubs in the DC area, I moved to Orange New Jersey to pursue comedy in New York, shortly after going to New York I appeared on Its Showtime at The Apollo with Sinbad and EnVogue, I later appeared on The Apollo Comedy Hour, Uptown Comedy Club, HBO, BET Comic View 5 times, winner of BET's Coming To The Stage(BET's version of Last Comic Standing) Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, One Mic Stand with Kevin Hart, and got a standing ovation on The MoNique Show. In addition to being a nationally headlining comedian and opening for Anita Baker, Frankie Beverly and Byron Cage, I have also performed in Iraq and Afganistan for the soldiers through the USO and Armed forces Entertainment.
