Born in Asuncion, Paraguay, Jimena is a singer, songwriter, pianist, guitarist, and ukulele performer. She began her musical career at age 6 with classical piano, and begain composing at age 13. She sings in seven languages, including English, Spanish, French, Portugese, German, Italian, and Guarani.

We were so happy to have Jime and Aaron at a large, outdoor birthday party at Lake Quivira's "Yacht Club." Everyone loved them and it was clear they truly enjoy singing and playing -- and do it beautifully. They made the party spectacular.

About
Jime is a Paraguayan artist with 8 years of experience, having played in South America, Europe and the United States. She plays the piano, the guitar, the ukulele, sings and write songs in three languages (English, Spanish and French). Besides these three languages, she also sings in German, Italian, Portuguese, and Guarani. In her native Paraguay, she had a lot of media exposure for the past years. This includes participation in Radio and TV shows, articles and interviews in important newspapers and so forth.
As part of being a full time artist, in 2007 she opened for Julio Iglesias in the Central Bank in Asuncion, Paraguay. The following year she played a solo concert at the Sentier des Halles in Paris, as well as giving concerts in Barcelona Spain. In 2009, she was invited to played at the famous Teatro Solis in Montevideo, Uruguay representing Paraguay with her own songs.
2011 was the year when she decided to move to the United States of America to pursue her musical career, looking for a manager to take her career to another level. It was an exciting new beginning, to come to a new country and share her music!

Influences
We are influenced by many South American rhythms, like bossa nova, guarania, polka. We play our own songs, but also our own arrangements of covers. We cover songs from artists like Elvis Presley to Kings of Leon. We fit our arrangements to the style we play, and a very interesting variety of genres and artists are part of our setlist.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 120 minutes
Whenever Jime & Aaron are performing, a very intimate and intense connection starts between them and the audience. Attracted by the surprise factor of the unique combination of different rhythms and languages, the crowd is definitely interested in checking out what is happening on stage. The warmth of the South American lead singer makes a fun and intimate show for everyone.
Through the changing setlist, going from very fast songs to very mellow, deep melodies, the public shares the same emotions the artists feel when they play these songs. It is a very unique duo, with many different surprises for the audience.

We provide our own Sound and Stage Equipment for small venues (coffee shops, birthday parties, etc.)
