Why hire Jessica Musicmaker?
I've been playing the trumpet for about 15 years and I specialize in weddings, parties, church and all social events and I also sing. I have played with several bands and am willing to play behind artist or bands. It's what I love to do. Most people are surprised when they see and hear me play because they don't find female trumpet players everyday doing what I do. I also provide trumpet lessons for beginner and intermediate trumpets.
About
Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. I started playing the trumpet at the age of ten for my local church. I went to Alabama State University on a band scholarship where I became a better musician. I later moved back to Mobile and started to play with several groups and bands. I play for weddings and all events. I sing and play and sometimes I have my band with me. I love to entertain and make people happy from my music. Seeing the smiles on the faces of my audience is the best feeling for me as a musician. I have played places such as the W.C. Handy music festival, Alabama music hall of fame, Imperial palace casino, Beau Rivage Casino,etc..
Influences
I have been Influenced by artist such as, Wynton Marsalis and Louis Armstrong and many other groups. To many to name them all. I have and will always be inspired by great musicians.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 120 - 240 minutes
They may experience alot of soulful playing and heart. Everything that I do, Is done from the heart and I play to heal, and express the love of music through my skills. I promise that once I have performed for an audience they will never forget the experience and will definetly want me back again.
