Gem of India an authentic Indian restaurant in Springfield, MO has been organizing an Festival of Lights party annually. 2012 marks the 9th year for this event along with Jenny participating in. Once again, Jenny is participating at this years event, showing her talent to the community.We're looking forward for Jenny to make our event as enjoyable it can get!

About
Jenevieve has been dancing all of her life, and has focused on belly dancing for the past 7 years. She has been teaching belly dance lessons since 2008. Jenevieve has been trained in many areas and forms of belly dance, including Egyptian, Turkish, Lebanese, Greek, Indian, Persian, American Tribal, Folkloric, and Polynesian. She usually fuses all of these influences together into an exciting performance or intriguing lesson. She is able to adapt her style, music, costuming, hair & makeup to just about any dance need or audience you may have.
Jenevieve has performed around the world, from headlining nightclubs in Byblos, Lebanon (the oldest city in the world), to dancing in London's New Years Day parade, to entertaining on a cruise ship in the Bahamas, to belly dancing and hula-hooping on stage in Jamaica (this requires a collapsible suitcase-friendly hoop, haha!)
Jenevieve has performed at Renaissance festivals, Music festivals, Haflas, New Year's Eve parties (both US and Persian), Halloween parties, Weddings, Birthday Parties (youngest has been 1 year, oldest has been 90!), Retirement parties and tele-grams, Graduation parties, Diwali Festivals (Indian Festival of Lights), Women's gatherings, Retirement homes, Luau parties, Charity events, Poetry slams, Latin events, and several ethnic restaurants. She has also club-danced (go-go danced, which is not stripping!!) at several venues and events.
