About
Jeff Carnie has toured the United States and abroad.
Currently, he serves as worship pastor for the 9:30 service at First Baptist Church of Elk Grove (FBCEG), California.
FBCEG is located in one of the most diverse areas in California; he believes that it is God’s will that he is there. He has a great passion for diversity; however his greatest passion is God’s presence in his life.
His present group, Jeff Carnie and Spectrum is also a testament to his appreciation and celebration of our differences. The group’s members are diverse in both age and ethnicity, thus our name, “Spectrum.” Additionally, the music performed covers many different genres.
In April of 2009 Jeff Carnie was nominated for best "Local Gospel Artist of the year" by radio station Rejoice 1240 and the Black Gospel Music Association of America. "I take no credit for any of this; I give all the glory to God Almighty" Jeff says!

Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 90 minutes
Engaging the audience with songs, and outstanding performance of contemporary Christian music, Spectrum draws you in and holds you in the palm of their authentic love for God as they alternated between upbeat, gotta dance, Thank you God numbers, and soulful, tear-provoking solos such as "I am not ashamed of the gospel". Spectrum is a full gospel band with five singers, full percussion, electric guitar and bass, piano, keyboard, and a beautifully blended horn section. Musically speaking, the band is tight, and professional, and just a treat to listen to. The music becomes a part of you as you tap your foot, clap your hands, and practically dance in your seat.
