About

Heather (Green) Cummings earned a BFA in Music Theatre Performance, Music Composition Minor, from Ohio Northern University in 2006. This musician, actress, and director has a performed and worked throughout Ohio, Chicago, and internationally in Mexico. She has studied voice with John Vining, Kirsten Osbun-Manley, Cindy Lincoln, and Meghan McKown and Valerie Maze of Chicago. She has studied piano with Dean Altstaetter, Valerie Maze of Chicago, and Geri Rosser.

From dinner cabarets, holiday parties, music theater productions, weddings, open mic's, business parties, restaurants, and summer festivals in central Ohio, Heather has entertained thousands with her voice and piano. Her voice has been praised as well as her compelling and delightful musical arrangements.

In the spring of 2010 she vocal directed Whitehall High School's musical, Guys and Dolls. Her music direction and original music was praised in Rosebriar Shakespeare Theater's musical version of Richard the Third, in the fall of 2010 directed by Steve Emerson. She music directed and wrote the music for Central Ohio's favorite dinner and murder mystery company, Cloak and Dagger, and their production of The Wreck of the R.M.S Enormous. As a composer several of her solo piano, percussion ensemble, flute choir, and small quartet pieces have been performed throughout central Ohio.

My style is similiar to Diana Krall, Carole King, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson. I create my own arrangements for popular rock and pop songs.
