Why hire Harp4all?

My name is Sara Chasse(Harpist & Pianist), and my husband’s name is Frederick Phillips (Opera/Crossover Singer & DJ). We provide music for Memorial Services, Funeral & Wedding Ceremonies, Receptions, Birthday Parties, Corporate Parties, and more. Our mission is to offer live music and DJ services at a reasonable price. We don’t want our client’s to have to compromise and pick between having a live musician or a DJ. Music is the universal language to the heart and soul which inspires emotions of happiness, sadness, melancholy, mystery, thrill, excitement, adventure, love, romance, and joy. Think of a movie which moved you, what was the music in that special scene, what did you feel?

Wedding CeremonyIt was very important to have a harp at my wedding, and when we couldn't find anyone available or within budget, I had given up. Harp4all came through for me without any problem and definitely with in budget. My guests were very pleased with the feel that the harp gave to my ceremony. It was perfect for the intimate setting that we used. The professionalism and repertoire we very impressive. I would definitely use Harp4all again and highly recommend them for any occasion.

Response from Harp4all:
Thank you Monica, you and Ray were so easy to work with. J.S. Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" was an elegant piece and expressed your love for each other and your uniting families during the unity ceremony. What a great love you all share. I hope we have a chance to see you again. I will keep you posted of our upcoming public events. Happy New Year!

Wedding CeremonyMyJoyfulWedding.com coordinated a wedding at the Desert Princess Resort and Spa for a school teacher bride who had engaged the services of Harp4all. Working with the harpist, Sara Chasse-Phillips, was a pleasure. She set up early, was dressed appropriately, and, best of all, opened guests hearts just prior to a beautiful wedding ceremony performed by Reverend Richard Cadieux. We recommend and would hire Harp4all again. Joyful Weddings.

Response from Harp4all:
I appreciate your expertise as well Carolyn. The ceremony was very beautiful, Reverend Richard was very pleasing to work with. I hope we have a chance to work together again soon. I wish you both the best in 2011. Happy New Year!

Overview

About

Sara Chasse-Phillips has been involved in music since she was born. At three years old her mother started teaching her piano, dance, art, and voice. From there she continued to grow in the arts with professional teachers. When her family moved from Virgina Beach, where her father was serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy, to Bloomington, Indiana Sara continued her training. Being in a college town she began pre-college choir, piano, and harp lessons. She began studying the harp with Elzbieta Szmyt and attended summer master classes with Susan McDonald at Indiana University.

Being in a busy college town there was plenty of concerts to see and Sara would attend orchestra, choir, broadway musicals, jazz band, and solo concerts almost everynight. In addition to learning the harp, piano, dance, and voice, Sara also studied violin, trumpet, and flute under some of the most renowned artists of her time.

Sara participated in youth orchestras, choirs, and bands all throughout her childhood and career. In the summer of 2001 she attended the Brevard Summer Music Festival in North Carolina where she earned her scholarship through playing private fundraisers for country clubs, and private homes. During her stay she studied under the baton of Keith Lockhart. In the summer of 2003 and 2004 she served as a counselor at Hartwick Music Festival in New York where she earned a full tution scholarship and played harp under the direction of Skitch Henderson (renowned conductor/pianist of the New York Pops). Sara has held many youth orchestra positions as principal harpist throughout her career.

In 2005 Sara moved with her husband, Frederick, to Riverside, California to study music. Here they continued her harp business that she once ran with her sister back in Bloomington, Indiana. Since 2005 Sara has played with professional choirs in Palm Springs, Performed at Disney Hall with the RCC Wind Ensemble, played with a local orchestra for the Stan Lee Documentary at Capital Records in Hollywood, and continues to freelance for film scores, and other special events. Sara & Frederick are attending RCC, and are working towards their Music Performance Certificates. Sara received her A.A. with "Great Distinction" from RCC in 2009.
