Our costumes are created from the fanciest of materials by Fae Diddle Diddle, our founding faerie! Our small family of performers (we don't contract out to other companies and then send you a stranger!) are all trained by Fae, and are of the highest quality.
Our performances leave even the grown-ups laughing!
The smartest thing I've done for a birthday party was to hire Fae!
This company and their characters are unlike any other and the children were completely captivated for 90 minutes!!! On a scale of 1 to 10, the children at my daughter's party (and the parents) gave her a 11.
Here's what different about happily ever laughter:
1) The quality of the character/acting/entertainment. These are NOT your hokie disney types, but more like magical creatures that come to life . Centaur, mermaids, fairies and more! Hard to describe so I suggest watching the videos on her web site to get a better idea.
2) YOU get to pick age appropriate activies and customize with an easy to price/select web site. All of it can be done on-line. What you see on the web site is what you get. So hassle free and worry free. I couldn't do this with the other folks popular around here. Their web site was not designed for this.
3) Here's my favorite part, this company was at least $100 less than the cost of other bay area children's entertainers. I checked daffy you know who and so and so barry you know what and joe smith the musician (I've attended his performances and we were all so uninterested).
4) She's stunningingly beautiful in the mermaid costume, all of it handmade! Our crowd ranged from 0-3 mostly with a few in the 6-8 range and they all sat still for an hour!
What she's not
1) The other 3 well known party entertainers are older men that I know my group of young girls would not be comfortable around. Personally, I found them awkward and my husband found them to be too old and sorry to use this word but too creepy for our crowd.
2) Nickle and dime, charge you for extras. Our agreement was for 3 activities and when there was extra time, Fae threw in a 4th activity, for FREE.

booked happily ever laughter for a large party with almost 100 guests with 20 kids. fae was very responsive making the booking process fast, concise and easy for me to get down to business so i could spend more cycles on other aspects of the event. her suggestions and followup were precise. fairy meadow was also very thorough touching base with me a few days before the event for final planning.
fairy meadow did an amazing job with the children. when many of the kids first arrived, they were scared being in a large restaurant with so many adults. the kids were clinging to their parents and burying their faces in their parents' chests. by the 15 minute mark of our event, miss meadow had completely transformed the scene. little boys were jumping around giggling with glee slashing their sword balloons. fathers were circling taking pictures of their kids laughing and waving butterfly balloons in the air. some fathers and mothers were playing sword balloons with their kids. a whole train of little kids with balloons were following the fairy back and forth across the room with big smiles on their faces. little kids were taking balloons and cupcakes to their parents.
the parents at our party were so happy. they told us they were impressed with how well miss meadow engaged the children. it gave them time to eat their lunch. another parent said their daughter would be on cloud 9 the rest of the day. parents came up to me asking for the name of the children's entertainer company so they could book them for future events for their own kids. even adults at the event who didnt bring kids were talking about how cute the fairy was with all the little children.
during the planning stages of the event, my kid's grandmother and my hubby werent so sure if it was a good idea to book the fairy but after seeing the effect miss meadow had on the children today and after hearing all the compliments from other parents, they both agreed it was one of the best parts of the party.

If you would like to make a child’s birthday party magical, you’ve come to the right place. Our children’s party performers are as friendly as they are versatile. We offer many types of characters, and fun kids birthday party activities like face painting, puppet shows and magic shows.
Our view of Children's Entertainment is a little different than what you may be used to seeing at the normal birthday party...
Why don't we use Disney characters?
We are one of the only companies in the Los Angeles Area that doesn't offer any of the 'Disney Princesses'.
We absolutely love them and believe that Disney does them best.
Because other companies aren't offering performers that are licensed through Disney, there is room for a lot of problems.
We have seen too many terrible wigs, awful costumes, and poor actresses attempt to play these memorable roles.
Because our costumes are all of such high quality, we suppose we could attempt to offer them, but the real problem we see with offering Disney Characters lies beyond the appearance.
Aside from grown-ups noticing that the characters aren't up to the Disney quality, children also notice that something 'isn't quite right'. Half of the time the performer is at a celebration the children are drowning her in questions of, "you aren't really Cinderella, right? "
"I can see your REAL hair... Why don't you have glass slippers?"
"You don't sound like Cinderella...".
And the worst, "you are just a girl in a costume".
There may be performers out there that can 'pull it off'...which is wonderful. However, we would rather know that the children will believe in us 100% ...no matter what.
Our unique characters are wig-free, talented, and of course...real.
We make a huge effort to create our own, unique characters. Each costume is carefully designed by hand (and is 100% wig-free!) for each Faerie's own unique shape, and is cared for weekly in order to always appear magical. We believe that showing children characters outside of the corporate realm can re-inspire them to believe in magic. When our characters arrive at celebrations, children ask us questions like, "Do you really live under the sea?", or "Can you teach me how to fly?', instead of statements like, "You're not really Cinderella, I can see your wig", or, " I have your movie".

Each of our elaborate characters are handmade by Fae Diddle Diddle, our founding Faerie, and will delight children of any age, even the grown-ups!
Our Magic Show is a wonderful show starter because it has lots of sparkling surprises and ends with the gift appearing for the birthday child. It is not your typical magic show where the performer just stands in front of her stage and says “for my next trick…”. We actually weave a story together about creating a special surprise for the birthday child. It is about 20 minutes to a half an hour long and is centered around the idea that the Character is just ‘learning’ how to do magic. She makes some ‘mistakes’ and the children cry out that no! she really can do magic! It is a great way to have the children become comfortable with her and to feel as if they really have a role in helping the magic happen.
