Cover and original band featuring tunes by Jimmy Buffett, The Stones, CSN&Y, The Band, etc. Lots of beach music, blues and classic Rock and roll. Freddie spent ten years playing the winter season in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands. Freddie has appeared on Jost Van Dyke at Foxy's, Ivan's Stress Free Bar, Sand Castle, One Love Bar and Grill; The Jolly Roger in West End Tortola, and several shows on St. John and St. Thomas.
Freddie will tailor a show to the needs of the client, including writing show specific song(s). If you want a Buffett Tribute band, we will be happy to play a full blown Parrot Head gig!
We have been playing together for 15 years plus! We do it because we love it!

Sure does ignite the crowd and get everyone singing!

Bar/Lounge Every performance I've seen out of the White Bay Freddie Band has been fabulous! They really get the crowd up dancing and singing along to some great classics! Plus, they actually write their own songs, too! Amazing experience, everyone must get to see this band!

What else can I possibly say? You heard the girl! EVERYONE MUST see us! Our gig last weekend at Coach's in Murfreesboro was a blast and everyone had a great time! We have a private graduation party in a couple of weeks and are setting up some outdoor gigs for the summer! Keep checking the claander for our shows!

Awesome Margaritaville Party

Private Party My fraternity just wrapped up our annual charity week and decided what better way to celebrate than have a party in honor of our favorite alumni, Jimmy. This band came and played for our party and was everything we could have asked for. Very professional. On time. Talented and played songs catered to the theme. I will definitely keep them in mind for our next beach party. We heard lots of Buffet but were also surprised with some Marley and Stones. Very entertaing and definitely worth the money.

Freddie Snell and the White Bay Freddie Band are a group of musicians from the greater Nashville area that provide a fun, energetic, musically tight, experience! Having lived and entertained in both the British and U.S. Virgin Islands for ten years, Freddie has played hundreds of gig in the islands ranging from funky little beach bars to world class resorts. His island roots have given Freddie a unique feel for the music and a wide varity of musical styles. The band's set list can include all of Jimmy Buffett's classics as well as his more obscure songs, Bob Marley's music, The Rolling Stones, Cosby Stills Nash and Young, one hit wonders like Chevy Van, and much more. Freddie has actually lived the life of a beach bum (his favorite profession, of course)! He will intersperse his shows with personal stories about living on the beach, scuba diving with sharks, and living the Pirate Life! As he sings in his original song, Modern Day Pirate, he is "sailin' and divin' and playin' his tunes out there on the sea!" Freddie still believes that "if you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!" as he sings in the autobiographical song Life On The Edge. He'll also answer the often asked question, "Why did you come back from the islands, mate?" with his heartfelt song, I'm From Tennessee.
With some of the best musicians in the area joining him onstage for the last fifteen years, Freddie and the band provide a fantastic show that will stay with the audience long after the sound board has been turned off. This is a show that will really get the party going full blast!

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 45 - 300 minutes

A show with the White Bay Freddie Band will be FUN, first and foremost. We believe in starting on time. Generally in a three hour show we will only take one break for no more than 15 minutes. We will all talk to the audience on break.
We are at the gig to entertain the crowd, play good music and have fun! None of us will drink more than a drink or two and no one will be drunk or stoned! We are there to be the best entertainers we can be!
Our shows are G rated, maybe PG when it is an all adult audience. We don't use profanity for profanity's sake. We DO generally follow the lyrics and as you know, "Brother Jimmy Buffett" might swear just a little in his songs! But, after all, that is "his own DAMN fault"! (from Margaritaville).
We are respectful on move in and strike and will leave the stage at least as clean as we found it. We will always strive to work with and accomodate anyone we encounter.
It is our goal to be good "guest" and make sure our clients are "Stress Free" at least where the band is concerned!
