I have been doing makeup for fun, performance, and drag events since 2005.
I started face painting professionally this summer and… I love it!
I love seeing kid’s smiling faces when they look in the mirror, I love making people feel more fabulous, or giving them an opportunity to get in character. It’s amazing when kids painted like tigers come up to my mirror to roar and growl!
Adorning ourselves is a way of letting our inner light shine through and getting to be the people that we want to be, getting to play and have fun- and I’m honored to facilitate that sweetness.
I twist balloons too!
My scheduled face painter cancelled on my daughter's 6 birthday with less than 24 hours notice! Found Becky and she was wonderful. Very easy to communicate with, on time and professional. So patient with so many kids lined up and WOW! So talented. Have her info to three other parents at the party that day! 10/10 would recommend :)
Response from Foxtale Facepainting:
Thanks Angela! I had so much fun painting at June’s birthday!
I cannot recommend Foxtale Facepainting enough - she did an absolutely fabulous job at our event. Her designs were beautiful and she made the participants feel like superstars! 10/10

I bring all the paints and brushes, glitter, balloons if requested, and a chair and table. My paints are actually a FDA certified, hypo-allergenic makeup that is formulated for painting faces.
I can paint 10-15 faces per hour or if you desire I can do fewer faces that are more in depth. I can do shorter if you want me to come and just paint one or two people for an event too!
I’ve been an artist for most of my life! I learned to paint from my Dad who is a professional sign painter and then I went to school for art education and printmaking and studied a range of different types of art- from ceramics and sculpture to painting, drawing, and teaching kids!
I graduated with a certification to teach art K-12, but after school was more drawn to performance art, clowning, and leather working.
My face painting has been ongoing since college (2003) but only recently did it become my profession as well. I like to twist balloons too!
I will need a covered area under which to paint if your party is outside.
