I Hired Irene and her partner Mindy for my wife's 40th birthday party. They performed on our back patio to about 30-40 of our friends and family. They were very professional and put on a great show that had everyone in awe. They showed up on time and were flexible when my own party timeline was running a bit behind. I had several friends request their business cards, and I would certainly use them again.

At this event, FireGuMMY entertained a wide variety of constituents at a concert event and did a wonderful job with great costuming and high energy! Between interacting with the general admission during a "circus jam," she taught others to spin poi and hoop. She also entertained the VIP section during the concert with LED and fire performance that complimented the band's music. The crowd loved her style and were obviously pleased with the show.
I would definitely book her again. Her adaptability to any situation and continued professionalism makes her a great hire for any event!

About
The first time I saw fire performers was at a festival back in my native country South Africa. I was so amazed by the power and beauty of it, the very next year I did a workshop at the same festival, I have been hooked ever since.
I have been playing and performing poi for about 9 years now. Through poi I have met the the most interesting people all over the world. I attended workshops in London, and then returned to South Africa to teach poi and also to perfect my fire performance. My favorite performances was when I traveled to India and Thailand.
I moved to the states in 2007, where I was introduced to hoop dancing, I love the flow and the message of the hoop, I recently added hooping to my performances.
My most recent accomplishments include learning contact juggling, Fire Orb, and aerial silks. I truly enjoys performing and putting smiles on people's faces...
My other big love is traveling, me and my husband recently went traveling around the world for a year, it was truly an amazing and the best learning experience of my life...

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 15 - 300 minutes
*Fire Poi – For extreme visual impact I usually use Fire. The sight of flames flying around someone as they dance is a real crowd pleaser.
*LED Poi – Spectacular swirling light shows for night or indoor spinning. Ideal as a replacement for Fire Poi when Fire is not allowed
*Fire Orb – Whilst dancing with flowing movements, the Fire Orb appear to magically float in mid air between the hands.
*Fire Flow wand – This is a weighted stick with a very thin ‘hard to see’ cord attached. It creates the illusion of a floating fire wand.
*FIRE Hooping – Remember the old fashion hula hooping… Now add Fire to it for an amazing and mesmerizing dance show.
*LED Hooping - Spectacular swirling light shows for night or indoor spinning. Ideal as a replacement for Fire Hooping when Fire is not allowed.
