Mayuri has been a professional face painter for over 10 years and has done countless birthday parties, corporate events, local faires and public festivals and donated her time to non-profit causes such as the Boys and Girls Club of America and the local Humane Society for fundraisers and fun.

All the paints used are FDA compliant, hypo-allergenic and water based. They come off easily with water and mild soap or a baby wipe.

Mayuri has also been practicing the art of henna/mehndi for over 15 years. She makes her own natural paste with real (plant) henna; the best quality for the darkest stain! Most people love the scent of henna and the way it feels going on. For those rare individuals with a citrus allergy she has developed a paste without the standard lemon juice. She never uses "black henna" (a chemical known as PPD which is harmful to humans). She can do traditional designs as well as modern ones.

Henna tattoos are temporary and fade after about 1-3 weeks, depending on aftercare.

Mayuri also offers **henna classes**, **personal appointments**, and **henna parties**!!!

Glitter tattoos are water resistant and last typically around 5 days.

Hair Tinsel and Hair Feathers are a fun, safe way to "spice up" hair with colorful and sparkly "temporary highlights".

Influences

I have been involved with stage makeup, costuming, and productions of various types over the years. My first real inspiration was Penney The Clown, a great friend I've known a long time now. We even used to eat fire!

I've been a fan of Cirque du Soliel for many years and always continue to attend seminars, watch new tutorials and find new ways to make even more unique, more wonderful and more enchanting services to offer.

Since a child, I knew I was an entertainer. Please allow me to bring my gift of entertainment, your style, my creative flair- to your event!

Typical Gig Duration: 90 - 720 minutes

I am here to make your party more colorful, your drama more dramatic and all of it gorgeous and awesome beyond your expectations.! Look at just some of the possibilities!:

*Birthday Parties: enjoy any theme! ALL AGES!! (gift packages and/or party favor bags available!) As an excellent face painting artist! I also have glitter tattoos, hair tinsel, and hair feathers. I can accommodate a mixed age crowd with something to satisfy everyone!

*Reunions/Receptions: Another great way to keep children occupied at family and friends gatherings or parties!

*Private Appointments: Need a sugar skull face paint for that party you're going to? Want to surprise someone by getting a personalized henna temporary tattoo? Call!

*Photo Shoots/ Stage Productions/Film: I specialize in fantasy face and body paint (full or partial) for your shoot or production- great with stage makeup, too!

*"Women's Night In" : "Girl time" one afternoon or evening? You can choose to create your own party and invite me over for how ever many hours you'd like to have everyone get a henna temporary tattoo!

*Teen Parties: Why not celebrate any time? Girl Scout Troop fun, cheerleaders, dancers, homecoming, prom...

*School and Church Events- from little ones to grad nite to seniors' live-in facilities, I can bring beauty, fun and magic to enliven any occasion!

*No party is too big or small!

Stage/Setup Requirements:
5 Minute bathroom break per hour
A meal if my time is over 3 hours
Bottled Water
Lighting if in a dark environment
Shaded area if outdoors in direct sun

Additional Notes:
For most parties/events we can either speak via phone or email about the details of your party, and I will give you a quote based on what we decide suits your needs best. I'm expert at assisting you to arrange the entertainment to let you focus on the other aspects of your party.

Once we agree on services and pricing, I will send you a contract for you to sign and send back with a retainer fee of $50 to secure your booking. This fee is non refundable except in the case of an emergency, and will be deducted from the total of your final payment due.
