About

A veteran guitarist of 20 years, Eric has performed across the Midwest as a singer-songwriter, a classical guitarist, and with various ensembles. He is a protege of renowned classical guitar master Kirk Hanser of the Hanser-McClellan Duo and has participated in master classes with legendary guitarists Jorge Morel, Manuel Barrueco, & Pavel Steidl.

Eric performs instrumental music on both the classical (nylon string) guitar as well as the steel string guitar. The repertoire performed varies from the great classical composers such as Bach, Handel, & Beethoven to contemporary composers such as York, Kindgren, and Eric himself. Performances typically range from 1 to 3 hours, but Eric is able to perform for longer durations if requested. Eric plays through a small amplifier and therefore able to perform inside or outdoors. Access to an electric outlet is required in either case. Eric also incorporates his own brand of laid back, vocal pop-jazz for those clients interested.
