About
Dawn Frederick-Allen was born in Overland Park, KS and received her first violin lesson at the young age of 5, in the Suzuki Method. Having a deseire to be successful and the natural talent that quickly evolve, Dawn began to take her music to the next level and began to enter music competitons. From Junior High through High School, Dawn won 3 first prizes at state competition. Continuing to excel in various competitions, she maintained her concertmaster status from grade school to college.
In her 24 years of violin experience, she has performed with 3 different chamber ensembles, of which the Kansas City Youth Symphony, she traveled to Italy in 2000 to perform in cities such as Milan, Montecatini, and Venice. Dawn has also been a member of the following orchestras:
Olathe Area Youth Symphony
Kansas City Youth Symphony
Kansas State University
Lynchburg Symphony
Today, Dawn still maintains the passion she had as a young girl playing for weddings special events her home church, family, and those requesting her services.
