About

Using the urgency and distortion of punk, changes and melody of indie/alternative, power and drive of rock 'n roll, and the reverb of surf, that, just being Torrey Musicant's rhythm guitar; while, Daryl Fuentes incorporates a melodic drumming technique combining the timing and flow of jazz, heavy punch of hard rock and thunderous double bass of metal; simultaneously delivering poetically written lyrics filled with philosophical depth, catchy memorable hooks and an assertive confident projection.

On the recordings, however, Torrey wrote and performed the bass and accent/lead guitar by bringing the nostalgic walking style of rockabilly, as well as, surf to the bass and finishing it all off by adding modest solos, haunting feedback and ambiance to the accent/lead guitar.

If you are a fan of Silversun Pickups, Muse and Queens of the Stone Age, than E3 is definitely another band you will want to add to your playlist.

Back story:

Daryl Fuentes and Torrey Musicant met mid 2007 in Las Vegas, NV.

During the course of the semi-finals at a reality game show in St. Louis, MO, Torrey Musicant befriended Vinny Vegas, an enthusiastic contestant, who, coincidentally was from his hometown of Las Vegas, NV. After a solo performance during the wrap party (enjoying what he heard), Vinny informed Torrey of, Daryl Fuentes, a drummer roommate of his, after which, he invited Torrey to their house for a private jam session. Feeling mutual about their collaborative chemistry, Torrey and Daryl immediately solidified a musical partnership and tightened up their unique sound,
