"Hire this man !!! I couldn't possibly recommend Dwight any more. From the first day to the day of, Dwight was 100 percent professional and even more personable. He worked with us every step along the way to make sure the music at our wedding was everything we wanted it to be. And, in the end, it proved to be even better. Dwight set the tone for our ceremony perfectly. He has a beautiful touch with the guitar, a perfect, natural soundtrack. And he knew how to read the crowd perfectly during the cocktail hour. I can't tell you how many complements we got afterwards. There are so many headaches with planning a wedding, so many things to worry about. Dwight isn't one of them. He does everything he can to make it as easy on you as possible, and he succeeds. He makes communication quick and easy, and, in the end, he leaves you with the perfect soundtrack for your day. We are so glad that we made Dwight a part of our wedding, and we know you will be too. - "

" We hired Dwight for our wedding ceremony and he was amazing. Several guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony music was and he was a pleasure to work with! I didn't really get a chance to talk to him much on the wedding day itself, but we had several discussions on the phone and Dwight was always so kind, responsive and aiming to please. Overall I think Dwight was one of our favorite wedding vendors and I would recommend him to anyone! "

" My husband & I were wed in Meredith, NH in September, 2010 in a relaxed, elegant, yet fun wedding; the day was amazing & Dwight was a huge part of that. From the first contact, Dwight was an absolute pleasure to work with - his experience & ideas were so helpful in keeping me (the distracted bride) on track and helping to make our day be what we hoped for. I never once had to wonder or check up on him, he was always one step ahead of me - professionally prepared. Dwight played some lovely classical acoustic for pre-ceremony, the processional & recessional, leading into some more upbeat classic & folk tunes during the reception. He also played music from our IPod as the night progressed & finished out the evening with some light 'wind-down' music. His knack for reading the guests' mood for appropriate music was spot-on; it was always perfect. Dwight was such a wonderful man to work with, he made our day just amazing! Highly recommended for both his talent & professionalism - you can't go wrong with Dwight! "

" Incredible Wedding Musician !
Dwight played for our wedding in the Arnold Arboretum in Boston (9/24/11) and it was wonderful. He had to lug his equipment over a quarter of a mile to get to our ceremony location (no cars allowed) and yet he did it with a smile and actually seemed to enjoy it. He also DJed our hotel reception (played and sang during dinner and then ran our Ipod through his equipment after dinner for the dancing). He was also able to play our mother-son dance live which was amazing. He is a great musician and just a wonderful person to work with. He is laid back but very good at knowing the details and planning with you. We would highly recommend him to anyone. "

" Dwight was honestly one of the highlights of our wedding. He is great guitarist and his vocals are soft and soulful - super talented!! He has a fantastic repertoire, and is very versatile; any of the songs can easily suit the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner music. Dwight had great insight into our taste of music and made great suggestions that flowed wonderfully throughout the evening. We also had Dwight MC/DJ for the reception, we created playlists and he took it from there. He worked patiently with us up until our wedding day, and then he filled our event with beautiful music, without missing a beat.
Aside from his musical talent Dwight has a great personality; he is relaxed and poised and has a wonderful sense of humor. Not only did Dwight provide great musical entertainment, he provided the support and guidance we needed. He was responsive to questions, respectful of our choices, and even helped us decide between songs. We HIGHLY recommend Dwight! And we will always remember the part he played in our wedding."

Set List

“Wedding Music” Sample Repertoire’

Below is a list of some of the music I perform most frequently at weddings . I can also play any of the many folk and traditional songs I know as part of a ceremony or reception( follow the "non-wedding gigs" link. ) As you look down the list, you'll see some interesting and unusual wedding songs. Many of them were added to my repertoire' because they were meaningful for a particular couple. So, if you don't see something that fits, we’ll work together to find the music that will mean the most to you. I always enjoy working with clients to provide the music to help make their weddings unique and special. If I don’t know it, I can usually learn a particular special song for you if I have sufficient lead time, but as my bookings fill that becomes difficult---another reason to book early.

Instrumentals are fingerstyle arrangements on steel string guitar or nylon-stringed classical guitar.

Vocals are accompanied by fingerstyle guitar
