About
Dorothy Papadakos came to international attention as Cathedral Organist at the world's largest Gothic Cathedral, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, in New York City from 1990-2003. Celebrated for her daring & innovative improvisations, she is in high demand for her unique, high energy performances and enjoys a wide variety of international venues. She is passionate about introducing audiences, young and old alike, to the treasure trove of Hollywood's golden Silent Era. Dorothy's music publisher is Oxford University Press and she is the composer/playwright of the new musical BACCHUS. She is a member of the 6-time Grammy Award winning Paul Winter Consort and has composed scores for film, TV, ballet and theatre.
